Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of PoseGrade, an app that gives AI-assisted posing feedback for bodybuilding and physique competitors and casual lifters (“PoseGrade,” “the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). PoseGrade is built and operated by the PoseGrade team. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use PoseGrade. Questions? The service
PoseGrade helps you improve your competition and photo posing through:
- AI Analysis — upload a photo of your pose and receive AI-generated scores, coaching cues, and feedback modeled on how a judge would view it.
- Practice mode — real-time posing feedback using your camera, processed entirely on your device, free and unlimited.
- Progress tracking — a history of your analyses so you can track improvement over time, including comparisons between past attempts.
Accounts
You need an account, created and authenticated through our authentication provider (Supabase Auth), to use AI Analysis and progress tracking. You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account and device, and for all activity that happens under your account.
Subscriptions & billing
PoseGrade offers a free plan and a paid “PoseGrade Pro” subscription.
- Free plan — up to 3 AI analyses per month, plus unlimited practice mode.
- PoseGrade Pro — a generous daily fair-use cap on AI analyses instead of a monthly limit, full progress history with side-by-side comparisons, and access to every posing division.
Pro is billed as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or annual) through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Prices are shown in the App at the time of purchase and may vary by region or store.
The annual plan includes a 3-day free trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, it automatically converts into a paid annual subscription and you'll be charged. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled. You can cancel anytime from your Apple ID or Google Play account settings — canceling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period.
We don't process your payment and never see your card details — that's handled entirely by Apple/Google and RevenueCat, our subscription management provider.
Fair use
The usage limits above are in place to keep the service sustainable and prevent abuse. We may adjust these limits, and may throttle or restrict accounts that attempt to circumvent them (for example, automated or bulk submissions).
AI-generated feedback is not professional advice
PoseGrade's analysis and coaching feedback are generated by AI and are intended as informational coaching content only. They are not medical, health, nutritional, or professional advice, and are not a substitute for guidance from a qualified coach, doctor, or other professional. AI-generated feedback can be inaccurate or incomplete — always use your own judgment, and consult a qualified professional before making decisions about your health, training, or competition prep.
Your content
You own the photos and other content you upload to PoseGrade. By uploading a photo, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and transmit it — including sending it to our AI processing provider (OpenAI) — solely to generate your analysis and provide the App's features to you. We don't use your photos for any other purpose, and you can delete your photos and analyses at any time (see our Privacy Policy).
Acceptable use
When using PoseGrade, you agree that you will:
- Only upload photos of yourself, or of someone else who has given you permission to do so.
- Not upload unlawful, infringing, obscene, or sexually explicit content.
- Be at least 18 years old, or use the App with the consent of a parent or legal guardian if you're younger and permitted to do so under your local laws.
- Not attempt to abuse, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the App's usage limits or security.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Termination
You may stop using PoseGrade and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, or if we discontinue the App. If your account is deleted — by you or by us — your data is removed as described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer of warranties
PoseGrade is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated feedback will be accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PoseGrade and the PoseGrade team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (or $0 if you're on the free plan).
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of your jurisdiction of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use PoseGrade after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
