Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign up or sign in, we collect your email address through Supabase Auth, our authentication provider. Supabase manages your login credentials on our behalf; we do not store passwords ourselves.
• Physique photos. When you use AI Analysis, you upload a photo of yourself in a posing position. Photos are uploaded directly to Supabase Storage, into a private storage bucket that only your account and our backend can access — there is no public URL for any photo. Our backend accesses a photo only via short-lived signed links it generates on demand, to run your analysis and to show your history.
• Analysis reports. The scores, feedback, and coaching notes generated from your photos are stored in our database (hosted on Supabase, using Postgres) so you can view your history and track progress over time.
• Quiz / profile answers.During onboarding you may answer a short quiz (for example, your experience level, competition division, and goals). These answers are stored on your device and are sent along with each analysis request to help personalize your feedback — we don't keep a separate server-side profile of them.
• Subscription and purchase data. If you subscribe to PoseGrade Pro, your purchase is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, with subscription status managed through RevenueCat. We receive confirmation of your subscription status (active, expired, trial, etc.) but never see your card number or other payment details — those are handled entirely by Apple/Google and RevenueCat.
• Practice mode video.Practice mode's real-time posing feedback runs entirely on your device using on-device pose detection. Camera video and frames are processed locally and are never uploaded to us or any third party.
• Notifications.Reminders (such as weekly check-ins or trial-ending notices) are scheduled locally on your device using your device's notification system. We don't operate a push-notification server, and these reminders never leave your phone.

How we use your information

• To provide the core service: your uploaded photos are sent to OpenAI's API to generate your posing analysis (scores, feedback, and coaching notes). Per OpenAI's API terms, data submitted through their API is not used to train their models.
• To maintain your account and apply the correct usage limits and subscription entitlements.
• To personalize the coaching feedback you receive, using your quiz answers as context for the AI analysis.
• To communicate with you about your account, such as support requests or essential service notices.

Who we share data with

We share data only with the service providers that help us run PoseGrade, and only as needed to provide the service:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and photo storage (in a private bucket, accessed only via short-lived signed links).
• OpenAI — processes your photos via their API to generate posing analysis.
• RevenueCat, Apple App Store, and Google Play — manage subscriptions and process payments.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use advertising networks or third-party tracking or analytics SDKs in the app.

Data retention

We retain your account data, photos, and analysis reports until you delete them. There is no automatic expiration — your history stays available to you for as long as you keep your account.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger zone → Delete account in the app. This permanently removes your account, uploaded photos, and analysis reports from our systems. You can also request deletion by emailing nirosha.chris@gmail.com.

Children's privacy

PoseGrade is not directed at children. You must be at least 13 years old to use PoseGrade (or at least 16 if you are in the European Economic Area, UK, or Switzerland). If you are younger than this, please do not use the app or provide us with any information. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under the applicable age without appropriate consent, we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, but no method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use PoseGrade after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
